The RWCR2 has a fully powder coated aluminium body, folded, riveted and welded. The engineered design optimises strength and weight reduction.
The aluminium chassis is engineered with 2mm 50 x 50mm box, running a full-length centre longitudinal with cross members corner gusseted and overlap C channel outer sections welded.
Stainless steel braces are fitted to stress points where extra strength is required around main box locking points and provided added strength to lift frame up rights.
The hitch is a steel double sleeve box 980mm long extension inserted, running through the centre longitudinal extending back past the gusset cross members to transfer any pull and torsional forces through the 3 main chassis members adding extreme strength and eliminating chassis fatigue.
Axle is designed, engineered and Australian made, AL-KO independent torsion axle systems. Over 17 million produced around the world for caravans and trailers is now the bench mark for fully independent trailer suspension. The AL-KO IRS axle has been proven in tough Australian conditions for well over 20 years – from dirt tracks to fast freeways, from mountain tracks to desert highways.
AL-KO IRS axles are a form of independent wheel suspension, this improves stability of the trailer.

Trailer weights, particularly the tare, ATM and payload are the most important specifications to look at in a trailer. Tare: 330kg / ATM: 700kg = payload 370kg. A perfect combination for Suzuki Jimny, Subaru SUV, Hybrid and Electric vehicles, as well as larger family sized 4WD’s.
Stainless steel and extruded aluminium construction with multi M8 channels for adapting accessories, glides on inner sealed bearing runners. Gas struts tuned and rated to the load allow minimal effort and easy lifting of the loaded platform. Designed to carry roof tents, bikes, kayaks or strap the swags, jerry cans and camping essentials for extended touring. Load rating: static rating of 400kg and dynamic rating of 125kg. Aftermarket roof rack systems can be adapted for your specific requirements.
Flush mounted and keyed alike for convenience and easy closing of storage areas while the main lid has a dual handle lock feature for secure and easy locking.
The top mounted storage tray has multiple tie down eyelets built in for carrying camp waste, firewood and kindling or just extra space for gas bottles or anything that needs external storage.
